Pricing
HubSpotHubSpotCRM and salesHubSpot is a CRM with connected marketing, sales and customer service tools on one contact database. Free plan, paid from $20/mo.Click for Scout's full analysis has two published tiers you can buy without a sales call:
- Free CRM: $0 for 2 users and 1,000 contacts. Branding stays on emails, forms, chat and meeting links. Support is community and knowledge base only, and automation is limited to 1 automated action per email and 1 automated email per form.
- Starter Customer Platform: list price $20 per seat per month. A limited-time new-customer offer ("up to 65% off") shows $10 per seat billed monthly with no annual commitment, or $7 per seat billed annually. Starter includes 500 HubSpot Credits a month; you can buy more or enable overages.
Professional and Enterprise prices are not on the Starter page, and both require onboarding. HubSpot says your bill can grow with seats, add-ons, your marketing contact tier and usage beyond limits, and that payment processing may carry separate fees.
PipedrivePipedriveCRM and salesPipedrive is a sales CRM built around a visual deal pipeline. Paid from $14/mo, 14-day trial.Click for Scout's full analysis publishes only annual-billing prices, per seat per month, excluding VAT:
- Lite: $14
- Growth: $39
- Premium: $59
- Ultimate: $79
The page advertises savings of up to 42% with annual billing but does not show the monthly-billing prices. There is no free plan, so after the 14-day trial you are paying.
Bottom line on price: HubSpot is cheaper to start (free) and at list price its Starter seat ($20) costs about half of Pipedrive Growth ($39), which is the first Pipedrive plan with email sync and automations. Pipedrive's $14 Lite seat is cheaper than HubSpot's $20 list price, but it lacks email sync.
Shopify connection
HubSpotHubSpotCRM and salesHubSpot is a CRM with connected marketing, sales and customer service tools on one contact database. Free plan, paid from $20/mo.Click for Scout's full analysis. HubSpot's knowledge base documents a Shopify data sync on all products and plans. Customers and contacts sync both ways, as do products. Orders and abandoned checkouts sync one way into HubSpot. Company sync works only for Shopify Plus stores. Changes sync within 10 minutes after the first sync.
Limits HubSpot lists: Shopify product variants can't sync, metafields aren't supported, deletes don't carry across, orders without an email-linked customer sync without a contact, and custom field mappings need at least Data Hub Starter.
PipedrivePipedriveCRM and salesPipedrive is a sales CRM built around a visual deal pipeline. Paid from $14/mo, 14-day trial.Click for Scout's full analysis. Pipedrive's pricing page does not mention Shopify. The Pipedrive Marketplace lists a Shopify app built by Make, a third party, that says it syncs data between the two based on your preferences. Pipedrive's pages don't spell out which records sync or what it costs, so treat it as a connector you will need to configure and evaluate yourself.
For a store, this is the biggest difference. HubSpot is designed to see your Shopify customers and their orders; Pipedrive is designed to see your deals.

Support and onboarding

Common questions
Is HubSpot or Pipedrive cheaper? HubSpot is cheaper to start because it has a free plan, and its $20 list price for a Starter seat is lower than Pipedrive Growth at $39. Pipedrive Lite is $14 per seat but lacks email sync and automations.
Does Pipedrive have a free plan? No. Pipedrive offers a 14-day trial on all plans with no card required, then paid plans billed annually per seat.
Does Pipedrive integrate with Shopify? The Pipedrive Marketplace lists a Shopify app built by Make, a third party. Pipedrive's own pricing page does not mention Shopify, and the listing doesn't detail what syncs.
Can HubSpot's free plan sync Shopify? Yes. HubSpot's knowledge base says the Shopify data sync is available on all products and plans, though custom field mappings need Data Hub Starter or higher.
How we put this together
We did not test either CRM hands-on. Prices and features come from HubSpot's Starter pricing page and its Shopify data sync help article, and from Pipedrive's pricing page and its Marketplace listing for the Shopify app, all read in November 2026. HubSpot's new-customer offer is time-limited, so confirm current prices before buying.
