What GetResponse does

GetResponse is an email marketing and automation platform with a lot bolted on: landing pages, signup forms and popups, sales funnels, webinars, a website builder and a course creator. For a store, the useful parts are:

  • Email campaigns and autoresponders with an AI email generator and send-time help
  • Automation workflows, including abandoned-cart recovery from the Marketer plan
  • Ecommerce tracking and promo codes from Marketer
  • Landing pages, unlimited on every paid plan
  • A Shopify integration, which GetResponse lists on all plans
  • Webinars and courses on Creator, for stores that sell education alongside products

Every plan and what it costs

From GetResponse's pricing page:

Plan Monthly Billed annually (per month) What you get
Starter $19 $15.58 Unlimited email sends, 1 custom automation workflow, AI email generator (up to 3 uses), unlimited landing pages, 3 users
Marketer $59 $48.38 Unlimited workflows, abandoned cart recovery, ecommerce tracking, sales funnels, promo codes, unlimited web push, 5 users
Creator $69 $56.58 Everything in Marketer plus webinars (100 attendees, 3 hours of recording storage), website builder, course creator, 5 users
Enterprise Custom Custom Unlimited users, webinars up to 1,000 attendees, SMS marketing, dedicated sending domain and IP, SSO, priority support

What the prices are for. The pricing page shows these as entry prices and does not state the contact count they cover. Price rises with your list size, and the higher tiers were not listed on the page we read. Enter your contact count on the pricing page before you budget.

Free plan. Our tracked fact sheet lists a free plan, but the pricing page we read in November 2026 showed a 14-day free trial of premium features and did not list a free tier. Its FAQ refers to a free account with limits on webinars, messages, landing pages, automation and chats, without numbers. Check the signup page for current free-account terms.

Discounts. Annual billing saves up to $41 a year on Starter, $127 on Marketer and $149 on Creator, and yearly plans include a free custom domain. Charities and NGOs get 50% off monthly plans.

SMS. SMS marketing is listed only on Enterprise. Starter, Marketer and Creator do not include it.

What it costs at two store sizes

Only GetResponse's published entry prices are used, because the page does not show prices for larger lists.

Small store at GetResponse's entry list size, wanting abandoned-cart emails:

Paid from $19/mo, 14-day trial.Click for Scout's full analysis Marketer: $59/month, or $48.38/month billed annually. Starter will not work, because it has no abandoned-cart recovery or ecommerce tracking.

Store that also runs webinars or sells a course:

  • GetResponseGetResponseEmail and SMSGetResponse is an email marketing and automation platform that also includes landing pages, signup popups, webinars, a website builder and course tools. Paid from $19/mo, 14-day trial.Click for Scout's full analysis Creator: $69/month, or $56.58/month billed annually, at the entry list size. Getting webinars and courses elsewhere would mean a second subscription, which is where GetResponse's bundle starts to make sense.

Above the entry list size, GetResponse's prices were not shown on the page we read, so we are not estimating them.

Strengths

  • One tool for email and funnels. Landing pages, popups, funnels and email live in one account.
  • Unlimited sends on every paid plan. You are not counting emails per month.
  • Webinars and courses. Creator covers them, which most ecommerce email tools do not.
  • Generous seats. 3 users on Starter and 5 on Marketer and Creator.
  • Clear annual discount and a 14-day trial of premium features.

Limits and watch-outs

  • Abandoned cart costs $59/month. Starter has one automation workflow and no ecommerce tracking, so it is not enough for a store that wants revenue flows.
  • No SMS below Enterprise. If you want SMS, you need a custom Enterprise plan or a separate tool.
  • List-size pricing not shown. We could not confirm what you pay at 1,000, 5,000 or more contacts.
  • Free plan unclear. The pricing page did not list a free tier, and the free account's limits are not given in numbers.
  • Not a Shopify-first tool. Its Shopify integration is listed, but GetResponse is a general marketing platform rather than one built around store data the way OmnisendOmnisendEmail and SMSOmnisend is an email, SMS and web push marketing tool built for online stores, with signup forms, pre-built ecommerce automations and campaign templates. Who should use GetResponse

  • Stores that sell courses, coaching or workshops alongside products and want webinars in the same tool as email.
  • Small brands that want landing pages and funnels without paying for a separate page builder.
  • Teams of three to five who need multiple users on an entry plan.

Verdict

GetResponseGetResponseEmail and SMSGetResponse is an email marketing and automation platform that also includes landing pages, signup popups, webinars, a website builder and course tools. Paid from $19/mo, 14-day trial.Click for Scout's full analysis is a capable all-in-one marketing tool, and its Creator plan is good value for a store that also runs webinars or courses. For a typical Shopify store whose email program is welcome flows, abandoned carts and weekly campaigns, it costs more than the ecommerce specialists to reach the same automations, and it hides list-size pricing.
