Route: pricing, plans and alternatives
Route offers package protection that shoppers can add at checkout, plus branded order tracking, returns and cash-back rewards. On its Standard plan the merchant pays no monthly fee because shoppers fund the protection. It suits stores that want to offer lost-or-damaged coverage without paying for it themselves.
Standard is $0/month to the merchant: it is consumer-funded (shoppers pay the protection premium at checkout). The Custom plan (flat fee, volume-based or mixed funding, API) is quote-only via demo.

Watch out for
Protection premiums are set per store from factors like category, season and claims history and can be recalibrated over time, and Route debits the collected premiums from the merchant via Stripe, usually weekly.
