Why stores look for a Loox alternative

Loox is a well-rated app with a clear focus on photo and video reviews, and it bundles referrals into the same app. The reasons people move away come straight from its own pricing on the Shopify App Store:

The bill grows with orders. The Convert plan is $49.99/month for 300 orders, plus $50 for every additional 300 orders. The Unlimited plan is a flat $299.99/month.
Key features sit behind Convert. Video reviews, AI summaries and replies, referrals, reviews on product bundles, and Google, Meta and TikTok syndication are all listed on Convert, not the free plan.
The free plan has a ceiling. The free plan is listed as "Up to 500 orders." The listing doesn't say whether that is per month or in total.
Language listing is unclear. The listing's Languages field shows English only, while a screenshot caption on the same page says widgets and emails can be translated into 38 languages.

Past about 1,800 orders a month, Unlimited is the cheaper Loox plan. At that point you are paying $3,599.88 a year for reviews, which is when many stores start comparing.

Judge.me: the default switch

Judge.me is the closest like-for-like replacement and the cheapest by a wide margin.

Pricing. Forever Free costs $0. Awesome is $15/month with a 15-day free trial. Neither plan is priced by order volume.

What the free plan includes (from the App Store listing): unlimited product and store reviews, unlimited photo and video reviews, a review widget and star badge, carousels, Google reviews sync and rich snippets, trust badges, Shop App, Etsy and Amazon sync, and a reviews importer with AliExpress sync.

What Awesome adds: AI replies, summaries and translations, 130+ integrations including Klaviyo and Gorgias, 16 widgets including Q&A and a reviews page, automatic reminders, coupons and referrals, Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok Shop sync, and full widget, email and CSS customization.

Switching. Judge.me lists review import from Loox, Yotpo, Amazon, Etsy and others.

Watch out: automatic reminders, Google Shopping sync and the AI tools are on the $15 plan, not the free plan. Most stores that care about review volume will end up paying the $15.

Who it suits: almost any store leaving Loox mainly because of price. It covers photo and video reviews, referrals and syndication for $15 at any size.

Junip: flat tiers built around branded collection

Junip moved to flat monthly tiers with unlimited orders and review requests on every plan, according to its App Store listing.

Pricing. Free ($0), Core ($29/month), Growth ($79/month) and Premium ($299/month), with a 7-day trial on paid plans. Enterprise is by quote.

Free: unlimited orders and review request emails, mobile-first submissions, product page widgets and rich snippets.
Core: adds media review requests, incentives, review replies, product grouping and live chat support.
Growth: adds Google Shopping, TikTok Shop, Shop App and Meta Shops syndication, marketing integrations such as Klaviyo and Postscript, search, and custom attributes and filters.
Premium: adds Junip AI (a sales agent and summaries), multi-store management, and API access.

Watch out: the syndication you get on Loox Convert needs Junip's $79 Growth plan, and AI needs the $299 Premium plan.

Who it suits: brands that want photo and video reviews pushed to Google Shopping and social shops at a fixed monthly price. At 1,000 orders, Junip Growth ($79) costs less than half of Loox Convert ($199.99).

Fera: the cheapest paid option

Fera retired its free plan, so every store pays, but its entry price is low.

Pricing (from Fera's pricing page, billed monthly): Startup $9/month for up to 200 orders, Small $29/month for up to 2,000 orders, and Medium $99/month for up to 20,000 orders. Larger tiers run from $199 to $999. Yearly billing is discounted. Reviews are unlimited on every plan. Fera says Shopify merchants get a 30-day free trial.

Features (from Fera's official pages): automated post-purchase review request emails, SMS requests for US and Canada Shopify stores, review import from Amazon, Etsy, AliExpress, Google and Yotpo, incentives through discounts, points or cash back, and display in Google Search and Google Shopping. AI review moderation is on every plan, and AI review replies start on Small.

Watch out: there is no free plan, and the Shopify listing has mentioned both 30-day and 14-day trials. Confirm the trial when you install.

Who it suits: small and mid-size stores that want a low, predictable bill. Up to 2,000 orders a month costs $29, compared with $299.99 on Loox at that volume.

Okendo: if you want loyalty too

Okendo is not a cheaper Loox in the way the apps above are. Its listing is titled "Okendo: Reviews & Loyalty," and it suits brands that want reviews plus points, VIP and referrals from one vendor.

Pricing: Free (up to 50 orders/month), Essential $19/month (up to 200), Growth $119/month (up to 1,500) and Power $299/month (up to 3,500), each paid plan with a 14-day trial. Annual billing saves 8 to 11%.

Watch out: the caps are low at the bottom. AI review summaries and keywords, TikTok Shop integration and a Q&A widget start on Growth. Email and SMS integrations start on Power.

Who it suits: established brands that would otherwise pay for Loox and a separate loyalty app.

Stamped: same features on every tier

Stamped charges by monthly orders like Loox, but its Shopify listing shows the same features on every plan: in-email review collection, customizable widgets, Google and Klaviyo integrations, and photo and video collection.

Pricing: $23/month (up to 200 orders), $99 (up to 1,000), $199 (up to 5,000) and $399 (up to 20,000). There is no free plan and no free trial. Stamped's website also sells sales-led plans starting at $299/month for unlimited orders.

Watch out: Stamped's billing help says that when you reach your monthly order limit, review requests stop sending and queue until you upgrade.

Who it suits: stores that like Loox's model but want video reviews and integrations from the first paid tier.
