Watch out. Media hours cap how much footage you can bring in each month. The free plan exports at 720p and is not watermark-free, so it is for trying the workflow, not for publishing. Stock AI voices are 25+ on Hobbyist and Creator and 60+ on Business.

Skip Descript if your product videos are mostly B-roll, music and text overlays with nobody speaking. Ultra AI uses can create video clips with Canva AI; Pro includes up to 200 Premium AI uses or up to 20 Ultra AI uses, and Business up to 400 or 40. Watch out. Pro is for one person only; teams need Business at US$250 per person per year. AI use is capped by plan, with extra allowances sold separately. Canva's pricing page does not list transcript editing or filler-word removal, so it is not a substitute for Descript on talking-head footage.

Skip Canva if you edit longer videos with lots of cuts. It suits template-driven clips.
