Weglot: pricing, plans and alternatives
Weglot translates a website into other languages automatically using machine translation from DeepL, Google and Microsoft, and lets you edit the results. On Shopify it also translates URLs, metafields and SEO metadata and adds hreflang tags so translated pages can rank. It suits stores selling to buyers in more than one language.
Prices from the Shopify App Store listing; scale by translated words and languages; yearly billing saves about 17%. Weglot's own pricing page could not be read and may differ for non-Shopify sites.
Best for
Shopify stores that want to add one to a few translated languages quickly without managing translators.
Watch out for
Plans are capped by translated word count and number of languages, so a large catalog or extra languages pushes you onto higher tiers fast (Starter is 1 language and 10,000 words).
