Free plan, paid from $19/mo, 14-day trial.Click for Scout's full analysis again, because its price follows product count, not sales. Boost's tiers follow GMV, so the opposite holds for a store with few products and high revenue.

Pricing (official pricing page, billed monthly / billed annually per month):

  • Free: $0, up to 25 products or dev stores
  • Basic: $19 / $16, up to 1,500 products
  • Essential: $39 / $33, up to 7,500 products
  • Advanced: $89 / $74, up to 15,000 products
  • Growth: $139 / $116, up to 30,000 products
  • Pro: $209 / $174, up to 50,000 products
  • Premium: $349 / $291, up to 300,000 products
  • Enterprise: $499 / $416, up to 2,000,000 products, with custom work

Annual billing saves up to 17% and includes a free site search audit. The 14-day trial gives access to all features with no credit card. On the Shopify App Store there is also a Basic for Plus plan at $49/month for Shopify Plus stores.

Features: an instant search bar with results as shoppers type, AI personalized search, voice search, unlimited default, tag and custom filters, merchandising tools, upsell recommendations and search analytics. The pricing page lists voice search and recommendations on every plan, including Free, and its FAQ says merchandising campaigns are not limited by plan.

Watch out: price steps up with your active product count, so a store that adds variants or products quickly can jump a tier. The free plan only fits stores with up to 25 products.

Skip it if: you need a single vendor for search, filters, bundles, back-in-stock alerts and B2B sync. Boost covers more of that in one app.

Boost AI Search & Filter

Boost AI Search & FilterBoost AI Search & FilterSite searchBoost is a Shopify app for product search, collection filters, merchandising rules and recommendations. Paid from $29/mo, 21-day trial.Click for Scout's full analysis handles product search, collection filters, merchandising rules and recommendations.

Pricing (Shopify App Store listing, by monthly online GMV):

  • Launch: $29 to $159/month for stores under $50K monthly GMV. Five custom filter trees, smart and AI-powered search, 10 merchandising campaigns, recommendations and bundles, pre-order and back-in-stock, a 90-day report, up to three syncs a day.
  • Convert: $299 to $599/month for stores under $400K monthly GMV. Adds 20 filter trees, in-collection search, 40 merchandising campaigns, 1,000 back-in-stock notifications and a 180-day report.
  • Accelerate: $699 to $1,499/month for stores under $2.5M monthly GMV. Adds unlimited filter trees, AI personalized search and recommendations, personalized bundles, unlimited back-in-stock notifications, a 365-day report and B2B wholesale product sync.

All plans have a 21-day free trial.

Watch out: Boost's help center says if your store outgrows its plan's limits and you don't upgrade within 7 days, storefront filters and admin access get restricted. Add-on usage is billed at the end of the cycle, and charges are non-refundable. The listing gives a price range for each tier but does not show exactly where in the range your store lands.

Skip it if: your store does high revenue from a small catalog and you only need good search. You would pay a GMV-based price for features you may not use.

Klevu

KlevuKlevuSite searchKlevu provides AI site search, category merchandising and product recommendations for larger online stores, sold as separate modules.Click for Scout's full analysis offers AI site search, category merchandising and product recommendations, aimed at larger stores. Its Shopify listing now describes it as "Klevu (now Athos Commerce)."

What it does (App Store listing): AI search and merchandising that learns from shopper behavior, a merchandising dashboard for testing and scheduling campaigns, advanced filtering with facet management, Shopify Markets compatibility, and APIs, SDKs and documentation for custom storefronts, including Hydrogen.

Pricing: the listing says the app is free to install and that Klevu offers "three separate, tiered offerings," but in November 2026 it showed no prices, usage allowances or trial terms. It also says Klevu may bill external fees separately from your Shopify invoice. Plan on asking for a quote.

Watch out: the 4.9 rating comes from only 13 reviews, so it says less than the larger review counts for Searchanise and Boost.

Skip it if: you want to install, see a price and start today.
